Determination of hydrogen diffusion and binding energies using thermal desorption spectroscopy
Hydrogen analysis provides a better understanding of hydrogen diffusion in metals and the interactions between specific microstructures and defects with hydrogen. Using precise measuring instruments, hydrogen barriers, hydrogen traps, and damage mechanisms can be identified and investigated. Linking these results to models enables the optimization of components in terms of their functional and structural properties.
