Thanks to a wide range of specially developed test benches and years of experience, we have the capabilities and expertise to test materials in a hydrogen atmosphere, under complex loading conditions, and at extreme temperatures. A well-equipped laboratory with high-quality machinery and qualified personnel enables the determination of reliable materials properties (yield strength, tensile strength, elongation at break, necking, fatigue life, etc.).

  • Tensile tests in a hydrogen autoclave up to 1000 bar pressure in the temperature range from -40 °C to 90 °C (according to standards G 129, G 142, ISO 6892)
  • Force and strain-controlled fatigue tests in a hydrogen autoclave up to 1000 bar pressure in the temperature range from -40 °C to 90 °C (according to standards ISO 12106, ASTM E 466, ASTM E 606)
  • Crack propagation and fracture toughness tests in a hydrogen autoclave up to 1000 bar pressure in the temperature range from –40 °C to 90 °C (according to standards ASTM E 647, ASTM E 399)
  • Tensile tests on hollow specimens up to 250 bar pressure in the temperature range from –196 °C to 1000 °C (according to ISO/FDIS 7039)
  • Force and strain-controlled fatigue tests on hollow specimens up to 250 bar pressure in the temperature range from -196 °C to 1000 °C
  • Thermomechanical fatigue tests on hollow specimens up to 250 bar pressure in the temperature range from 50 °C to 1000 °C
